The Ansuz Rune
As if striking downward with a sword, an ax or a short staff,
turn your fists inward like wringing water from a cloth.
Thor enflames the staff and shocks the foe with your power.
The lightning comes out of the earth, up your spine, down your arms.
As you strike the foes downward, your spine and neck straightens with a shout.
Stand in the Ansuz Rune, hang in the Tree of Yggdrasil,
With both feet firmly rooted in wisdom.
Gently sway your spine like Oden's Spear, pliable, straight and true.
The wind of Midgard twists your forearms, softly like silken steel.
Amazed you will be, hanging in the Tree of Yggdrasil
Gaze into Gunungagap through Odin's single eye.
Odin stood like this for one day. Can you stand for one hour?
Inhale and exhale the Universe and find your Power.
