He was a great old guy who looked a lot younger then his 97 years. He attributed his vitality and youthfulness to Tai Chi Chuan, Meditation and a Natural Foods diet. Once, when I asked him what was the use of eating healthy foods and exercising since we all die anyway, he laughed and said, "It is true that we all must pass through the door of death so that we can see what's on the other side, but why not go through happy and healthy rather than sickly and full of misery?" The goal of this newsletter was to promote Aryan and Chinese cultural and health secrets. But since we no longer have our star attraction, and unless some of our other Chinese Readers want to fill the void with their writings, then I don't see the point in continuing. It seems sort of ironic that Dr. Wu would leave us before delivering his next article entitled, "How Breathing Cures Disease." Perhaps he finished it, perhaps not. Since his family is in mourning, I am not willing to press them with the question. This newsletter is primarily a health-focused publication. Mr. Forrest wants to continue contributing articles but his social observations on the plight of the Anglo-Saxon Aryan in 21st Century America are not sufficiently educational, in my estimation, to draw readership like Dr. Wu was able to do. So, I have decided to discontinue publication of this newsletter as a recurring feature. But since Dr. Wu's tips are generally timeless, I will offer the newsletter as a serialized newsletter to new subscribers on the website. Several weeks ago, I interviewed an Aryan Yogi. He expressed an interest in helping Mankind to higher levels of consciousness and good health, so I asked him to contribute one of his secrets to this newsletter which is all that we offer to you, the Reader, at this time. Your suggestions are appreciated. And I hope that you will continue to visit the Bamboo Delight Company website for the various products and services that we offer. Gregory Delaney, Editor and Publisher ----------------------------------------------------------------- Aryan Wisdom Raw Foods for Vibrantly Good Health by Leon Catchatoorian There are two styles of eating Raw Living Vegan Foods: * Gourmet Raw foods and * The much simpler Natural Hygiene approach. We'll start with the simple approach. Typically, the body digests one food at a time. For example, if you like cherries, you could live off of cherries. (Just like the ape or gorilla will go to a berry tree and eat all the berries till it's satiated, then it would naturally take its nap, then find another tree, say a banana tree and eat the fruits and the leaves and then take its nap). However, it doesn't have a smorgasbord of berries and bananas and mix them up [like humans do]. Humans on the other hand go to Fresh Choice for example and have these horrendous salads and put everything under the sun on their plates. Even if they are raw living foods, the body will have a harder time digesting it. Thus, natural hygiene, raw foods in their simplest combinations (also known as food combining) advocates eating simple mono-meals. I love Avocados, and I generally eat avocados, with some Celtic Sea Salt, some Cayenne pepper, Lime or lemon and cucumbers. There are 23 varieties of cucumber available and then yet some undiscovered breeds. For desert, one of the various types of dates (43 varieties of dates, how about that!) or bananas and raisins, with some cinnamon sprinkled on or whatever else. The Gourmet of Raw Foods is using sharp knives, Cuisinart food processor, Blender, Juicers, Dehydrators, etc., and combining these into more elaborate recipes. Harder on the digestive system yet all-raw. * * * * * For Yoga Lessons or Raw Foods knowledge, contact: Leon Catchatoorian, email: ----------------------------------------------------------------- LONDON. A British charity has issued a petition challenging Muslim leaders to call for reform or reinterpretation of the Islamic law of apostasy. Under Shariah, or Islamic law, Muslims who convert to another faith and refuse to repent must be put to death. Non-Muslims have long pointed out this and other Muslim laws as evidence of an intolerant society -- a charge seemingly reinforced by the persecution of non-Muslims in many Muslim states. -- Southern Cross Africa News, ================================================================= Comments?
