It spreads a variety of diseases that have killed more people than all of the wars of Mankind combined. Such diseases as the West Nile virus are spread through the ichy bites of these little flying monsters. To control this pest requires a knowledge of mosquito behavior and habits. You do not need to be an expert in entymology to be able to out-wit these creatures. Certainly a Man is smarter than a mosquito, so let's look at the life-style of the average mosquito and find its weak points. Most, but not all, mosquitos hunt at night and they try to find dark and cool places to hide during the daylight hours. So, to keep them out of your house, you obviously need screen doors and windows PLUS the knowledge of their habits. They get into your house during the dawn to midday hours just as you are opening the house up to go to work and doing your house work. So, to outsmart them you need to open all of your doors and windows AT DUSK, during the times when they are starting to fly out into the night. Open the doors and windows at dusk and stand outside for a little bit. You will see them flying out in search of your blood. They find their victims through a sense of smell and the ability to see infra-red emmissions of warm-blooded animals. With no one in the house, and the sun setting, they have no reason to remain indoors. After about a half hour, go back indoors and close your screen doors and windows, leaving the mosquitos wandering around looking for you outside. You will be safe indoors for the rest of the night. However, if you don't escape, then after biting you and sucking some of your blood, the female mosquito then has the food she needs to produce eggs. These eggs she wants to lay into some standing water. But not just ANY standing water. She flys over various water bodies such as tin cans, boles of trees, rain water-filled tires, open buckets, drain ditches and ponds. What her compound beady eyes are looking for in these places, is a water body swarming with microscopic animal life. Swimming, one-celled animals are the food that her wiggling little larva eat. When she finds such a place, she lays her eggs. After some little time, the larva hatch and wiggle about while eatting the one-celled animals. Once these wigglers reach a certain size and maturity, they crawl up to the surface and metamorphise into an adult blood-sucker ready to fly into your life (and maybe bring about your death) once again. The trap that I use around my house is nothing more than many containers of water. I keep these filled with water in sunny locations so that they grow lots of moss and microbes. I provide good places for the mosquitos to lay their eggs. I WANT them to lay their eggs in my little larva nurseries. And I rotate the times that I fill these nurseries with water so that I always have both fresh and stale water available for use. When the wigglers hatch, I keep an eye on their size because I want their containers to attract as many egg-laying mosquitos as possible before I dump them out on the ground. But of course, I don't want them to actually grow to the size where they turn into adults and come looking for me! It gives me a feeling of satisfaction to see a container of wigglers in my power. While scratching the ichy bites on my neck and hands, I gloat and chuckle as I pour them onto the dry ground to their doom. Now, if you share this method with your neighbors, the size of the local mosquito hatch can be drastically reduced. By keeping all of the local open containers of water dumped out and only keeping the containers full that you are monitoring, the mosquitos will lay their eggs in your own, private traps. If entire neighborhoods practice this method, the local mosquito population will dwindle. Yes, they will still bite, but each year there will be fewer and fewer of these little blood-sucking monsters. -- Dr. Wu Tao-Wei ---------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------- Guest Columnist: William Forrest "Mexican Cooks Starving White People" Here in Cupertino, California, in the heart of Silicon Valley, I don't eat at any fast food restaurants, anymore, because they are all staffed by Mexicans. They are illegally in this country to improve their own lives by lowering wages, taking up the cheap housing and thus raising rents, sucking up social services and education for their numerous children which my taxes pay for, and displacing Americans so as to turn California into a provence of Mexico. They don't know that they are here to destroy the United States. They are innocent pawns of International Politics. I don't blame them for being here. When they only make fifty cents an hour working in Mexico, who can blame them for wanting to work for six or seven dollars an hour here? And who can blame them for sending BILLIONS of dollars to their families in Mexico and thus help to support the corrupt Mexican government and bolster the Mexican economy while draining the United States of our wealth? They are merely the pawns of the International Swindlers known as Jewish Bankers and Jewish Communist Conspirators. Perhaps the Burger Kings, MacDonalds, Taco Bells and other companies that hire these illegal alien moochers don't need white customers anymore. At Taco Bell, for example, I stand in line with the Mexican ditch diggers and gardeners waiting to buy a Burrito Supremo. The Mexicans in front of me and the Mexicans behind me are served by the Mexicans behind the counter with huge portions wrapped in the white flour tortillas with smiles and greetings of "Amigo" ["Friend"]. But when my turn comes, the Mexican girl glances at me with a cold look and smears a few beans across the tortilla, slaps on some sauce and folds it up like an empty envelope. Who is she? I've never seen her before. Why does she give a lot to the Mexicans and less than enough to me? At the Burger King, I stop in for a quick cup of coffee and a breakfast sandwich. The Mexican cook looks at me with her cold, black eyes, and puts uncooked bacon on the sandwich. Who is she? I have never seen her before. Why the evil look and the raw pork? She wants me to catch trichinosos, perhaps? At the Jack-in-the-Box, I order from my car. I notice that the Mexican cook and several Mexican servers are particularly interested in watching me receive the paper bags of burgers. They all smile maliciously as they gather around the drive-up window. They don't normally gather around the drive-up window. So, what did they do to my food? Spit in it? Put in a few extra flies? I took the burgers home and fed them to my dog. He seemed to like Mexican spit with his hamburgers. Being a white man in the Third World barrio of California, is not easy. Illegal Mexican aliens line the streets in packs looking for work. They number in the dozens and hundreds, two and three deep in front of the Home Depot and along the main streets every day. They should be rounded up and deported. But they are here because the Jewish Bankers and the traitors in Congress want them here. They are here because lieing, cowardly politicians have been paid-off by the Jewish merchants, bankers and manufacturers. They are here to displace the white Americans and to destroy our country. They are here as part of the International Banking Conspiracy for turning the whole world into a Global Plantation owned by the greedy bankers. And they are here in my country to call us prejudiced white people and to spit in our food. And they are here because the Jews profit from them being here. They profit from the cheap wages and they profit from their Leftist and Democratic Party votes. I say that anyone who came to the United States from the day that the treasonous Bill Clinton first became President, should be sent back to wherever they came from. They are not here to do us any good. -- William Forrest ---------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------- Revising History So that It Aligns With the Facts: China's 'No Dogs or Chinese' Sign Debunking Another Historical Fable For many years it has endured as a particularly striking example of the demeaning, racist way that Chinese were treated in their own country during the early decades of this century. At a time when Europeans, and especially the British, dominated much of China, a sign at the entrance to the Huangpu Park in Shanghai supposedly announced: "No Dogs or Chinese Allowed." For decades this story has been widely repeated. It is cited in numerous books, including the writings of China's first republican president, Sun Yat-Sen. Harvard University historian John K. Fairbank refers in his 1986 study, The Great Chinese Revolution (p. 147) to the "oft-mentioned (but never photographed?) sign at the Public Garden on the Shanghai bund (waterfront), 'No Dogs or Chinese Allowed'." Oddly, it seems that no one has ever reported actually seeing the infamous sign, and the story's precise origin has always been obscure. Last year a Chinese journalist set off a furor when he announced that his research indicated that the sign never existed. To impress the Chinese masses with the wickedness of European imperialists, he reported, the park sign story was popularized as official history during the 1950s in Shanghai's "Museum for History and Reconstruction." As the German monthly "Nation und Europa" (Sept. 1994) reports, this bit of revisionist debunking has touched off heated discussion in China about the social-pedagogical utility of history. The official Guangming daily paper, for example, told readers that any expression of doubt about the existence of the Shanghai park sign will retard the proper education of the people. ---------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------- JIM TRAFICANT FIRST EVER PRISON INTERVIEW by Michael Collins Piper Down -- but definitely not out -- Jim Traficant is on the ballot for the November election as an independent, challenging the candidates of both major parties. Polls in his home base in eastern Ohio show that Traficant leads his closest competitor by a two-to-one margin. Traficant has a special message to AFP readers: "The readers of American Free Press should know about those polls that show that I can get elected and that I have a lot of support out here. I think I can be -- and I want to be -- the first American ever elected to Congress from a prison cell." The ex-congressman believes that his re-election -- even while sitting in a federal prison -- would send a message loud and strong that citizens are fed up with government misdeeds and all around disdain for the hard-working productive people of middle America. "People fear the government and no one should fear the government," said Traficant. "And when you start fearing your government, you end up hating your government. America is building a hell of a problem and it has got to be changed." A lot of people have asked how they can help Traficant. Traficant tells AFP's readers bluntly and directly: "I need some campaign money. I'm ahead 2-1 in the polls, but the local press and the national media are desperate. They're just beating me down." The media is repeatedly suggesting that if Traficant is sent to a federal prison outside his home state he will not be eligible to seek office from Ohio. This is not necessarily the case. Traficant told AFP that "I think they are working to try to keep me off the ballot, but I don't think they can. The Constitution says that you must be an inhabitant of the state. The town that I returned to, when I left Washington, is in Ohio. That's where I'm an inhabitant." Traficant's attorneys intend to raise all legal questions pertinent to the matter if Traficant is permanently placed in a prison outside Ohio. In the meantime, however, even Traficant's Republican opponent, Anne Benjamin admitted to "The Cleveland Plain Dealer" that she understands from Ohio state election officials that Traficant is eligible to run from an out-of-state prison. About the role the FBI and the Justice Department played in his prosecution, Traficant commented succinctly: "They pressured people to lie like you can't believe. There's no physical evidence. Not one bit of corroboration. Not one fingerprint. Nothing." On April 15, May 6, Aug. 5, and Aug. 12 AFP reported specifics regarding Traficant's case, demonstrating how the federal assault upon the congressman was a classic frame-up of the worst sort. Traficant summarized the fashion in which Judge Lesley Wells handled his case. "I wasn't allowed to bring any evidence. The judge didn't allow me to bring nine witnesses before the jury. But she made them testify before her, with the jury out of the room. "The judge didn't allow me to introduce 10 tapes that provided evidence of my innocence. She kept those tapes away from the jury. She tied my hands behind my back. But to tell you the truth, I damned near beat her and the prosecutors without that evidence. They had to get rid of me. [One witness] Richard Detore described how the federal prosecutors brought up Janet Reno to him [and pointed out how Traficant had criticized her]. "I'm the only one that went after Janet Reno. The Republicans wanted free trade with China and the Democrats didn't want Clinton to get hurt. So I was the only one going after Reno and she went after me like a ton of bricks." Traficant elaborated on some of the controversial stands that he took while serving in Congress: "Why are they so afraid to death of me? I'm the only one that's talking about trade, talking about giving away the country, about China and about China slipping in money to the U.S. government and the politicians are getting away with it. Our borders are wide open and then they talk about terrorists and narcotics coming across." "My issues," Traficant said, "are not popular with the government but they are with the people." Traficant is particularly proud of his work in reforming the tax laws, especially those governing the IRS and its relationship with the taxpayers: "I'm the one that passed the law that says a citizen can sue the IRS for $1 million if they abuse you. That's one of my laws. Secondly, I changed the law regarding burden of proof in a civil tax case. You used to be considered guilty and had to prove yourself innocent. The third thing is that under one of my IRS reforms, the IRS can no longer seize your property without a court order." However, Traficant has a lot more in mind: "When I get back into Congress -- and I can do it with the help of people around the country -- I'm going to introduce a bill to eliminate the IRS and create a 15 percent national retail sales tax, exempt everybody at the poverty level. Everybody else would pay the sales tax. "The fact is," says Traficant, "There's no freedom in America. That's a joke. You are born into a limited partnership with the Internal Revenue Service. I want that to be quoted." In reference to his sales tax proposal, he points out: "Harvard has done a study saying that, with a sales tax, prices won't even increase because the tax code is what's putting all the costs on American products in the first place. "Ninety percent of all retail sales taxes are collected by nine percent of retailers. My proposal would even exempt yard sales up to $10,000 for individuals. "I want to put a five percent tariff on the imported goods from any country that has a lower standard of living than the United States or any country which keeps our products out. China, for example, has a 17 cents an hour labor wage. Japan doesn't let our products in. I want that 5 percent and then we can take away FICA. "This way American companies will move back to America. You can't blame American companies for leaving with the oppressive tax code that we've got." Traficant also intends to continue working for reform of the federal law enforcement system that has put him in federal prison and which has been responsible for travesties such as Waco and Ruby Ridge: "As for the FBI and the Justice Department, I'm going to put in legislation to have an independent agency, appointed by the president for 10 years and approved by the Senate. Their job will be nothing but to investigate the serious cases like Waco, Ruby Ridge -- cases like that. Right now the Justice Department has its own Office of Professional Responsibility, but that's nothing more than "damage control" for the Justice Department." Traficant has an explanation for the unusually close relationship between federal judges and the FBI and the Justice Department: "Remember, these judges are afraid of the FBI and the IRS. The reason is this: Although Congress can impeach federal judges, it is not Congress that investigates these federal judges before they are appointed. It is the FBI and the IRS that does it. And it's the FBI and the IRS that brings all of these cases to the federal judges and they do what the FBI and the IRS want them to do. So they're all against me." As for Judge Wells, "The judge's husband is an attorney for Squires, Sanders & Dempsey in Cleveland. That firm handled business for the firm of John Cafaro who was a key government witness against me. Judge Wells shouldn't have even been the judge in my case. That's a hell of a story in itself." Although the judge refused to allow Traficant to remain free on bail and refused to grant him a new trial, Traficant is appealing his conviction before the Sixth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. Whatever the result of the appeal, Traficant remains committed to winning re-election.
